Earth-97726 diveges from Earth-92131 in that the Clone of Mary-Jane Watson using Hydro-Man to provide a means of stabalising the genetic structure sufficiently never occured, on account of their not being any such samples of Hydro-Man left. As such, Peter Parker never believed Mary-Jane to have returned, and never proposed to the Clone of her, which meant he was never at the ESU when Gila, Gecko, and Monitor arrived to take Dr Curtis Connors.
